Spruce (silver fir) is a plant originating from mountainous areas of Europe that its height can reach up to 60 meters. The scientific name of this plant is Abies alba from the Pinaceae family. In traditional medicine, this plant is used as a tranquilizer, expectorant and diuretic. Part of plants used for medical use including : leaves, bark, resins and sprouts. Its resin contains limonene and pinene. Its bark contains cellulose, minerals and tannins.
